On Wednesday 17th September 2014 8 finalists made their way to battersea for the finals of the Virgin Foodpreneur Fest. An amazing opportunity for food startup to showcase their business, brand and products.
The room was buzzing as the finalist arrive to set up their stands, excited to not only meet the judges and other finalists but also the other start up business that entered the awards.
Michela Chiappa lead the awards ceremony. "It’s an amazing opportunity for business owners to showcase their most mouth-watering dishes to a panel of food experts"
Amongst the judges were
Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley – authors of The Art of Eating Well, and recipe bloggers for Vogue, Paul Lindley – founder of children’s food brand, Ella’s Kitchen and Mina Holland – acting Editor of Guardian Cook magazine and author of The Edible Atlas.
Over 150 people attended the event giving the finalists an opportunity to show their products and allow people to taste and learn about the new and exciting brands.
This was a fantastic way to get feedback and comments as well as a chance to win the People's award which went to Ben Mason from Proper Beans.

Zingology were very proud to be the finalist in best Healthy Food Business, a really exciting opportunity to showcase their new, innovative powders to influential journalists, food experts and of course the general public.
